WHY DO WE CLAIM THAT OUR HPS ELECTRONIC BALLASTS ARE THE BEST - FOR YOU?

1. Our electronic ballasts incorporate our unique soft start Programmed-Ignition® circuitries which replace the external harsh 4kV ignition pulses used with magnetic ballasts and some other electronic ballasts offered by our competition. Our internal soft-start igniters greatly extend, and may double, the life expectancy of the lamps. They also drastically cut, and may eliminate, your maintenance calls for ballasts and lamps throughout the life of our warranty. No more calls for replacing external igniters and capacitors - they were eliminated.

2. Once the lamps were ignited, we replaced the low frequency, high harmonics SQUARE WAVEFORM ballast output to the lamps, used by HPS magnetic ballasts and many other HPS electronic ballasts offered by our competition, with our electronic ballasts output of high frequency, low harmonics, SINE WAVEFORM power output to the lamps and Current Crest Factor (CCF) = 0.998.

3. Our HID electronic ballasts save you the 40W Copper and Iron losses associated with each magnetic ballast.

For a long time now we have been offering and still do, our dimmable ballasts controlled by 0~10Vdc, dimming down to 50% of full power, thereby further reducing your overall lighting energy costs by additional >30%. However we are aware that these savings come at extra costs both for the ballasts and for the means of communicating with them be it Power Line or Radio Frequency communication. We also noticed that many cities, in their cost reduction efforts have turned off many of their luminaires completely. They thereby reduced their street lighting output level throughout the whole night, including in peak hours when the lights would have kept their streets safer. We have therefore undertaken R&D for lower cost solutions which can provide the cities with bright lighting at peak hours and then automatically dim their lights at off peak hours.
